While its the perfect coil to go with the pertronix ignitor breaker less ignition, our 40,000 volt flame-thrower canister coil can benefit virtually any distributor type inductive system. Its higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy. These coils are internally resisted so they are compatible with many ignition systems. 1.5 ohms coil, 6" overall height.

The 6al delivers everything the 6a does with the addition of a built-in soft touch rev control. This feature allows you to set an rpm limit to protect the engine from over-rev damage caused by driveline failure or missed shifts. Other msd rpm controls can be connected to the 6al such as a three step module selector or rpm activated switch . The 6al also comes supplied with rubber shock mounts and 3000, 6000, 7000, 8000, rpm modules. All necessary parts and wiring instructions are included.

This handy kit allows you to relocate the ignition coil from the fan shroud to the engine compartment relay panel next to the ignition module. Relocating the coil removes it from the vibration of the engine fan and allows the coil to be mounted with the top up. The kit consists of a spark plug wire long enough to connect the coil to the distributor, a ground wire for the coil primary negative connection and a coil power wire that will connect the coil primary positive connection to the ignition control unit.

For all 944 and 944s2 models this is the device that signals the control unit to cause the coil to spark. when this device fails your car is dead in the water, there is fuel pressure but no spark.
